Why Dribblers?
My youngest son Lucas dribbled a river from 4 months till he was just two years old. I started using the fleece line bandana dribble bibs but I would go through more than 10 in one day and end up with them dotted all over the house drying and they would take a while to dry. I'd also come home from nursery accompanied by bags of wet dribble bibs and one day was asked if we had any with a waterproof backing.
Not alien to a sewing machine I had a go at making my own dribble bibs but with a waterproof lining.
The difference was amazing! They lasted so much longer, the front layer absorbs the dribble and the liner protects the backing and in turn protecting the clothing from getting wet. They were also lighter and nicer for my little man to wear during what was at the time the hotter months!
About me
Busy Mother of two beautiful boys, Morgan Six Years old, Lucas three and our beautiful baby girl who is now one! Lucas was my inspiration for creating our own style of dribble bibs and having always had a love for arts and crafts it's been very exciting bringing something like this into fruition.
My motivation
Today’s modern parent or carer are looking for more, something that looks good, is easy to use and does the job, better.
There are many other bandana style bibs available on the market, the vast majority are factory made and or imported, mainly fleece lined absorbing and holding onto more dribble making them harder to dry, hot to wear during those warmer months and in constant need of changing to avoid their clothing getting wet through, it may as well not be there.
Dribblers bibs make it easier, they do the job and last.
What exactly are Dribblers?
Dribblers are hand-made by me, in the UK from fabrics that I source and select locally. They are all from the highest quality cotton with a waterproof fabric lining and nickel free, adjustable press-studs.
It’s the unique waterproof lining that means the under layer stays dry stopping the clothing from becoming soaked and preventing dribble rash. Whether you want to machine wash or rinse clean under the tap they can then be in your tumble dryer, on the radiator or out on the line, the light weight material allows the bibs to dry quickly and efficiently.
